Suicide, Shrines, and Broken Oaths: Noor Wali's Written Record of Terror

“Exposing the suicide cult, shrine bloodshed, and the broken promises inside TTP’s own written record”

To convince young Pashtuns to strap on suicide vests and detonate among praying Muslims, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) weaves religious deception, promising instant Paradise while cloaking cross-border extortion in the guise of Jihad.

Yet the most lethal exposure of TTP comes from their own pens. Having exposed their fabricated 'Mubah al-Dam' decree and elder assassinations in Issues 1 and 2, Issue 3 dissects primary texts by Amir Noor Wali Mehsud (Inqilab-e-Mehsud) and Mufti Ghufran (Ta'aruf TTP). Their own writings document shrine carnage, fraudulent martyrdom, foreign sanctuary dependence, and the denial of Janazah to Muslims.

Confessing to the Carnage of Pilgrims and Shrines

For years, TTP issued denials when suicide attacks provoked outrage. Yet in Inqilab-e-Mehsud (p. 477), Noor Wali Mehsud explicitly claims credit for the February 2017 terror wave.

Noor Wali boasts of the February 16, 2017 suicide bombing inside Sindh's Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine, murdering over 88 pilgrims and wounding 300. He also celebrates strikes in Lahore and Bannu. By glorying in slaughtering worshippers, Noor Wali permanently shatters TTP's pretense of Islamic defense.

مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا
“Whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption done in the land—it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.”
Surah al-Ma'idah, 5:32 — The inviolable Quranic sanctity of human life

Theological Refutation: The 'Fidai' Suicide Scam

In Ta'aruf TTP (pp. 14–15), Mufti Ghufran asks whether Muslims fighting Muslims can be martyrs. TTP answers by branding opposing Muslims 'Baghis' (rebels), claiming self-detonation is supreme devotion (Fidai).

Classical Hanafi jurisprudence rules suicide not as martyrdom, but as an unforgivable sin earning Hellfire. Islam strictly forbids self-destruction while TTP leaders hide safely across the border.

مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ عُذِّبَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
“Whoever kills himself with an instrument of iron will have that iron in his hand, thrusting it into his belly in Hellfire forever.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 1363 — The Prophet's explicit condemnation of self-destruction

Admitting Foreign Dependency: The Safe Haven Confession

In Inqilab-e-Mehsud (p. 477), Noor Wali confesses that TTP cannot sustain its insurgency without Afghan cross-border safe havens, equating these bases to the Hijrah to Madinah.

Afghan Taliban Supreme Leader Hibatullah Akhundzada decreed attacks into Pakistan strictly forbidden (Haram) and not Jihad. By defying this decree while exploiting Afghan soil, Noor Wali proves TTP are rogue covenant-breakers who betray their pledged allegiance (Bay'ah).

Forbidding Funeral Prayers for Muslims: Classical Khawarij Takfir

To justify murdering fellow believers, TTP adopts classical Kharijite doctrine: stripping Muslims of their faith. In Ta'aruf TTP (p. 4), the group publishes a fatwa branding Pakistani soldiers as 'helpers of Harbi infidels' and 'highway robbers' (Qati' al-Tariq).

Ta'aruf TTP, Page 4
Ta'aruf TTP, Page 4. TTP decrees that Muslim soldiers are 'robbers' and forbids funeral prayers (Janazah) for them.

TTP commands that for deceased soldiers, 'their death is a Haram death, and for Janazah, the ruling of dacoits applies: funeral prayers shall not be performed for them.' Denying funeral prayers to believers professing the Shahadah is classical Kharijite takfir, universally rejected by orthodox Sunni jurisprudence.

Jurisprudential Comparison: Authentic Shariah vs. TTP Ideology

Domain Authentic Islamic Law & Pashtunwali Documented TTP Doctrine
Suicide Attacks Authentic Sunnah (Bukhari 1363) rules self-detonation as Haram and Hellfire. Marketed as 'Fidai' martyrdom and an automated ticket to Paradise.
Shrine Sanctity Shariah strictly protects places of worship and pilgrims under capital penalties. Noor Wali confesses in print (p. 477) to bombing Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine.
Cross-Border Bases Islam commands honoring treaties; cross-border raids are prohibited. Defies Afghan leadership's explicit decree forbidding war on Pakistan.
Funeral Prayers Sunni consensus mandates Janazah for every Muslim who testified to the Shahadah. Ta'aruf TTP (p. 4) brands Muslim soldiers 'dacoits' and forbids Janazah.

The Written Record of Betrayal

Every fact presented here comes directly from TTP leadership. The record is indisputable: Noor Wali celebrates shrine massacres, Mufti Ghufran tricks youth into suicidal damnation, commanders violate Afghan decrees for sanctuaries, and their creed denies funeral prayers to Muslims.

To the tribal elders, mothers, and youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: TTP does not fight for Islam or tribal dignity; they fight for warlords funded by extortion and sustained by the blood of believers. Read their admissions with your own eyes.
