Slaughtering Scholars, Claiming Shariah

Fourteen hundred years ago, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gave a direct and unmistakable rule to identify this violent cult: "They kill the people of Islam and leave the idolaters untouched" (Sahih al-Bukhari 3344 & Sahih Muslim 1064).

Look at TTP’s eighteen-year operational record and ask one question: How many bullets has Noor Wali or Baitullah Mehsud ever fired at actual oppressors of Muslims in Gaza, Kashmir, or Myanmar? Zero.

Not a single fighter dispatched. Not a single shot fired. Their entire violence is aimed exclusively inward at Muslims facing the Qiblah. Every suicide bomber detonated by TTP has murdered Muslim police at dawn prayers, soldiers guarding frontiers, worshippers prostrating inside mosques from Peshawar to Quetta, and tribal elders gathered in jirgas. By targeting Muslims while leaving foreign oppressors untouched, TTP fulfills the Prophet’s diagnosis with complete precision.

In its official booklets, the TTP pretends to respect classical Islamic scholarship. But in the real world, the group’s hallmark is the cold-blooded assassination of respected scholars who dare to speak truth against its terrorism.

Exhibit 4B: Documenting the targeted assassinations of Sheikh al-Hadith Maulana Hassan Jan and living scholars.

The blood-trail is undeniable. Sheikh al-Hadith Maulana Hassan Jan, one of South Asia’s most revered Hadith authorities and Vice President of Wifaq ul Madaris al-Arabia, was murdered in Peshawar the moment he declared suicide bombings strictly Haram. Mufti Sarfaraz Naeemi was martyred inside Jamia Naeemia Lahore by a suicide bomber after organizing a nationwide scholarly decree against terrorism. In Swat, Bajaur, and Waziristan, dozens of local imams were murdered for refusing to surrender their pulpits to TTP extortionists.

The Prophet ﷺ warned: "The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets" (Sunan Abi Dawud 3641). Murdering the ulema while chanting Quranic slogans is the exact legacy of Abd al-Rahman ibn Muljam—the Kharijite who assassinated Sayyiduna Ali (RA).

The dirtiest hypocrisy of TTP lies in the contrast between foot soldiers and senior leadership. Warlords like Noor Wali Mehsud live safely in protected compounds, feast on extortion money (bhatta) taken from Pashtun businessmen, and give comfortable media interviews—while brainwashing impoverished teenagers into blowing themselves to pieces.

If suicide bombing is truly the supreme path to Paradise, why has Noor Wali never strapped a vest to his own chest? Why has Mufti Ghufran never sent his own sons into an explosion? Because they know the terrifying reality of authentic Hadith:

The TTP’s "martyrdom" preaching is a deadly fraud. It sells Paradise to uneducated teenage boys while sending them into eternal damnation—all so coward commanders in hiding can gain money and political power.

To claim religious authority, TTP commanders publicly declare allegiance (Bay'ah) to Afghan Taliban leadership in Kabul. But this relationship exposes a cynical double game of public denial and covert sponsorship.

Exhibit 4C: Primary Hadith (Bukhari 1870) and forensic audit documenting cross-border safe havens and covert harboring.

While officials in Kabul make occasional verbal disclaimers to deflect international sanctions, facts on the ground tell the real story. TTP leaders live openly in Afghan safe havens across Kunar, Paktika, and Khost—running training facilities, gathering extortion money, and launching cross-border strikes into Pakistan with complete logistical freedom.

Under Islamic law, harboring murderers while pretending innocence is pure treachery (Ghadr). The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned: "The curse of Allah, the angels, and all mankind is upon whoever shelters a criminal perpetrator" (Sahih al-Bukhari 1870 & Sahih Muslim 1370). Providing state-sponsored sanctuary to an armed faction that slaughters Muslims strips away every claim to legitimate Islamic governance.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ left no doubt regarding how Muslims must view this faction: "They are the dogs of Hellfire! The worst of those killed beneath the heavens, and the best of those killed are those whom they murder!" (Sunan Ibn Majah 176 & Musnad Ahmad).

Exhibit 4D: Sunan Ibn Majah 176 — The Inviolable Prophetic Verdict on the Khawarij.

The documented evidence is absolute. The TTP invents fake religious excuses out of thin air, twists the rulings of renowned scholars, proudly admits in print to bombing shrines and slaughtering innocents, assassinates respected Islamic scholars, and tricks young boys into suicidal destruction while senior warlords live comfortably across the border.

To the people, tribes, and elders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Waziristan, and Balochistan: this group does not fight for Islam, for Shariah, or for the Pashtun people. They fight for extortion money, territorial leverage, and senseless carnage. Fourteen centuries ago, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ unmasked their true nature as the Dogs of Hellfire. The mask has fallen permanently. The verdict is sealed: reject their false jihad, expose their crimes, and protect your communities from their deceit.
